Abstract

Productive and lasting job creation for reducing poverty is one of the pillars of the Occupational Agenda Decent Work Agenda (DWA) initiated by the Labor Organization International. Article 27 of the 1945 Constitution affirms each citizen The state has the right to work and a decent living for humanity. The fundamental importance of productive employment and decent work has been openly recognized by the international community as an achievement full and productive employment and decent work for everyone, including women and young people for the most important causes alleviating poverty. Publication of Employment and Unemployment Profile of Timor District North Central 2022 is an effort to present the employment profile and unemployment which contains figures at the district level obtained from results of the August 2022 National Labor Force Survey. This publication seeks Presents detailed information on labor and unemployment profiles according to area of residence and disaggregated according to male sex and women, at least so that we can get the main information between Other labor force participation rates or open unemployment rates as a basis in formulating employment development planning empirically based, in order to achieve full and productive work to alleviate poverty for all including women and younger generation.
