Abstract

This publication presents the data from the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) March 2024 conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Timor Tengah Utara Regency. The main focus of this report is to provide a statistical overview of the welfare of the population, covering various aspects such as demographics, education, health, housing, and consumption in Timor Tengah Utara Regency. The data collected is designed to support decision-making and evaluation of development programs at the district/city level.Main Contents:
  1. Demographics: Information about the composition of the population based on age, gender, and marital status.
  2. Education: Statistics on educational levels, literacy, and the educational status of the community.
  3. Health and Fertility: Data on health complaints, access to health insurance, health behaviors, as well as information related to births and family planning programs.
  4. Housing: Information on home ownership status, building conditions, and access to basic facilities such as clean water and sanitation.
  5. Consumption and Expenditure: Data on calorie and protein consumption, as well as community expenditure patterns according to commodity groups.
Methodology: The survey was conducted on 550 households in 24 sub-districts in Timor Tengah Utara Regency using stratified sampling techniques. Data was collected through direct interviews using standard Susenas questionnaires and processed through several validation stages to produce clean and standardized final data.
